workflow steps clarification

hi friends,

I am new to WF. I need to design the given scenario.

Workflow is triggered when a purchase order is created and it's blocked and sends to the assistant purchase manager for approval if he does respond for particular period of time then its send to purchase manager for approval. This includes release strategy and deadline monitoring.  • Used Role resolution for workflow based on the responsibilities.

Should i design a custom WF for event create and std WF for event blocked. Please  check the attachment.

Hi,

  For your design you can create custom workflow copying from standard workflow you shared. Then you add  appropriate deadline monitoring after  Release Purchase Order  .

Hi Saurav,

you could copy the SAP Standard workflow and use existing start event .ReleaseStepCreated and all that. Deactivate the Standard workflow in the event type couplings and activate your custom one.

then you can implement your deadline monitoring details on the "Release purchase order" step and do, whatever needs to be done.
