Hi,
The eprocessing type "user entry/default value" enables the manual entry of the desired value or the use of the default value specified during the definition of the variables-for the variables during execution of the query or web application.this processenig type is available for all variable types
Using the processing type "replacement path",you can configure the value that the variable should be automatically replaced with during the execution of the Query or web application. This processing type is available for characteristic, text and formula variables.
If u need to process a variables in a manner different from using the processing types "User entry/default value","replacement path",Sap Exit, or "Authorization", use "Customer Exit".A Customer Specific logic mapped with programming,to get the variable value. All variables types can be processed with this type.
The Processing type "sap Exit" is contained in variables that are delivered in the course of business contentes of SAP BW.
Th Processing type "Authorization" enables the automatic filling of a variables with the values from Authorization of a user. This Processing type is available for Characteristic variables and Hierarchy node variables..
Hope this helps
