Deleting large amounts of data

We are running SAP BPC MS 10 SP19 and SAP EPM SP24 Patch1. We have deleted large amounts of data from 1 model and we expected to see a performance change but we did not. I did do a Full optimization after the deletion but we so no change. We deleted about 5 million records and we still roughly have 20 million still in the model. Anything else I can do that could help?

We have a input schedule that runs off the model that pulls data from 7 dimensions. When we retrieve data it takes about the same amount of time as it did before we did the deletions. We actually deleted members which removes the data in the model as well. I am wondering if I need to re-index.

When you say performance problems, can you point at a specific report or script that is having issues?
