I have created a query using SQVI. How can I create transport request for it because I want to transport that to QA.

Thanks.

Hi Tushar,

You can transport queries, InfoSets and user groups using the respective utilities in the standard area components InfoSets and User Groups.

Hi Tushar,

You cannot transport The query made via SQVI is only intended for individual use/reporting purpose.

To transport the query by converting it to SAP Query source of data tobe converted to an Infoset.

SQVI-> SAP QUERY

QUERY(MENU) -> CONVERT QUICKVIEWS

Assign Infoset and Area to the Query and then you can transport.

Hope this may help you.

Hi Tushar,

SQV1 is a reporting tool . I think we can create this query directly in QA or Prod.

there is no need to transport.

I hope this will be helpful.

Hi Tushar,

Once you have created /Saved the list via quicK viewer.

Then Press SAP QUERY Button on Quick viewer. Then it will lead you to SAP QUERY.

Menu bar > Queryconvert Quick view--> assign infoset name and user group.

This will create a Query and then you can transport the query.

Go to the menu Environment -> Query Areas. Select Standard area (cleint specific)

Now you can create your infosets.

When done with that go to tcode SQ03 (verify Query Areas is still Standard.

Click on the transport icon

Select Copy standard Area --> Global area.

Run once for each Transport option selection

Transport user Groups

Transport InfoSets

Transport Queries

Note: Click the Help Icon (next to execute) and read through the explanations of REPLACE, MERGE etc. before running the execute.
