Campaign- How to setup template for Lead Comm Medium?

When creating a Campaign, under Channel, the Communication Medium 'Activity' is available. When selecting 'Activity' we can then select an Activity Template.

However, when selecting Communication Medium 'Lead', no Lead Template is available.

What is a template, and how do we set one up for for Comm. Medium 'Lead'?
