effect of +/-sign change in financial statment

i will show some account in financial statement as negative group . does item +/-sign change do it?

if no what is  effect of this ?.

Dear Fereshteh,

Revenue is generally displayed in the general ledger as a negative number in F.01. By selecting this field, the sales are displayed as a positive number.

Expenses is generally displayed in the general ledger as a positive number in F.01. By selecting this field, the expenses are displayed as a negative number.

Hi Sanju,

Change sign +/- in OB58 does not have any effect on F.01. you can press F1 on the field. The sign only use for financial statement analysis purposes.

before change in ob58 the balance sheet of account other revenue( 618001)such as this

and change in ob58 for this group of accounts

and take report from f.01but revenue display same as before change and did not show as positive  account

Hi,

As per the F.01 the GL account 618001 showing the negative value reason why you chosen the tick in sign change. This is correct only.

In the first screen shot too, its showing as positive value only.

Try to show the screen shot of FS10N for the GL account 618001.

The sign mentioned there is not mandatory to be clicked, based on the document posted with Credit and debit it will have the impact and show it in Financial Statement.

Hi,

The system uses the sign specified here to enable the entry of values without the sign when using the transaction type, if mentioned any sign the value is saved according to the sign chosen.

Hi,

It does not any impact in F.01. If the GL account has credit postings, then it will display with negative sign.
