Rounding off wage type in IT0008

Hi Exerts,

I am using indirect evaluation and trying to round off an amount in IT0008, i.e. if 98765.23 then it will be 98765 only. And if it is 1002.68 then 1003

I want to know if there is any standard user exit to achieve this?

Thanks

Go to table V_T511 where we can maintain rounding characteristics for wage type maintain rounding type as "B" and then check.

if it does not fulfill your requirement we can find a way with the help of PCR.

    • I have tried rounding type & divisor in w/t characteristics for IT 8 & 15 w/t's. It does not work in any of (a)IT 8 /15 display/maintain screens (b)SE16 list for the IT's & (c)payroll processing, IT, RT etc.

I have seen/used XDECI & ROUND successfully; there are similar op'ns or country-specific ones like RNDC, etc

    Hi,

You can go with any below two ways.

    1. Rounding divisor in wage type characteristics table- check SAP help on this.

    2. Custom PCR at the time of payroll run.

XDECI is a function commonly used for rounding off in payroll schema.

Also ROUND operation is available for payroll PCRs (format: ROUNDFSVVV - where F=G for amt, S=

Rounding method and VVV = rounding divisor - ROUNDGK100 should do for amt in dollars result).

Check the help info for these and use as required.

    Hi Sankarsan/Jagan,

Thanks. But what I want is to round off amount at IT0008 itself, i.e when I am uploading data into basic pay, there it should have been rounded off. That's why I asked for a user exit.

Please let me know if any such exit is available?

    Thanks.
