Check the content of those 2 files:
/oracle/PP2/112_64/dbs/initPP2.ora
/oracle/PP2/112_64/dbs/initRP2.sap
Also I realized that there are a mismatch between the names of the files. RP2 vs PP2. Have a look, what is wrong there.

Serhat

Hi Lutz,
sorry at the first, I know you might have checked it.
Can you please recheck DB Env for all shell .sh,.csh,...etc they are not pointing to RP1
Thanks,
Avinash

Hello Lutz,
So there's two things happening from what you are showing.
1. h/w key is wrong from what you're showing with sap_info
2. brconnect can't stat /oracle/RP1/sapadata2 (should be looking for RP2)
From the o/s please run "saplikey pf=<profile> -show" and "saplikey pf=<profile> -get" to see what licenses you have installed and your current h/w key.
As was asked by Avinash, could you please your environment variables with the user you are using for the brconnect.
KR,
Amerjit

Hello Lutz,
Indeed an odd one. Let's step back.
1. You did a system copy using back/restore method. Using SWPM or manually ?
2. Are RP1 and RP2 both on the same server ?
3. Please run "env" and upload the results
4. As a cross check of (3) Please run sapcontrol -nr <nn> -function GetEnvironment and upload the results.
5. Please restart sapstartsrv
6. In the dbs directory please run "grep -i rp" and check for RP1.
7. Please run R3trans -x and upload the results.
If you look at the file you attached there are errors that your brconnect is failing in a stat() on /oracle/RP1/sapadat2.
Without being logged on to your system to have a look around it does smell like you have config somewhere on RP2 that is pointing to RP1.
Kind Regards,
Amerjit

I believe the source system is PP1 and the target system is PP2.
Check the license key table and see if the entries there are cleaned up and only the source system details are present. Just curious to know, then which is system is using RP2?

hi,
how you did the system copy? using R3load or DB backup and restore ?
Have you imported the profiles from the file system to DB using RZ10 transaction?
Also remove the inactive and inappropriate instance profile parameter files using RZ10.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
pradeep
