Hybris Marketing vs S4HANA Cloud for Marketing edition

Is S4HANA Cloud for Marketing edition a cloud version of Hybris Marketing? I was checking the trial version and found almost the same functionalities.

This made me wonder where the back-end data is coming from - Is it actually from an S4HANA system or is it from a Hybris integrated HANA system.

Also, In the trial version for S4HANA cloud for marketing, there is only the sales order fulfillment application. Is there a provision to create/change sales orders in it?

Hi Ajithkumar,

in general it is important to understand that the S4HANA uses the same codeline as Hybris Marketing onPrem. S4HANA Cloud Marketing Edition has a predefined standard customizing and standard segmentation profiles so it is a subset of the almost infinite flexibility you have in an onPremise or private cloud deployment.

Here you get a good overview on both deployment options.

In both deployments we do not offer sales order creation/change but of course you can receive orders from external systems.
