ASE database configuration complies with SAP's requirements

We wanted to check whether ASE database configuration complies with SAP's requirements and recommendations.

However, our system is pure JAVA system and i do not have option to run dbacockpit as mentioned in below sap note..

1581695 - SYB: Configuration Guide for SAP ASE 16.0

Can you please help me, how can i run this check ? (I do not want to create a Remote DBACOCKPIT connection in any abap system)

Hi Ashish,

You can connect to ASE server using isql and check the configuration parameters as suggested in the SAP Note :

1680803 - SYB: SAP Adaptive Server Enterprise - Best Practice for SAP Business Suite and SAP BW.

In fact i managed to quickly add it to Solman DBACOCKPIT, but SAP Configuration Check is disabled.

What should be done for this ?
