In T005u One Region key is having two Different Descriptions.

HI..

I need a small information.

I have one Layout. In this layout using billing document data is picking.

So, one Text element is showing state name , it is picking from T005U. So, In billing document, What ever the Customer -> Region is there ,then it is picking the value from the Same region and Description From the T005U. All regions are Having Two entries German and English, But

Only one is having two different Descriptions. May i know Why. Please have a look on below attached image.

I checked OVK2  But No use.

Hi,

From customizing screen (OVK2), region 35 has been copied to region 36. All text elements are copied by this event as well. User has changed description of region 36 in the logged on language (English, in this case), but has not changed the description in DE language. You can log in German and change the description of 36 to required value as well. This will solve your problem.

hi, Thanks for your reply. I am not able login  With DE. May be not installed , Installed for specific language, In this case how previous user has changed the De Description As En.

As I've said, by copying, both DE and EN texts were copied, and as user is logged in English, he did change only EN text.

As Former Member mentioned, DE text is not relevant for your case. In your output program you should read only EN text and it will be fine.

Since Telangana, is a new State, someone would have just update the English Text in OVK2 and missed to change the Text for Language DE.

It is just a customizing setting and will not impact anything else if you change it manually.

How could i change it. Can i change directly in Se16n for this field. If i do any impact on other tables.

You can change it, but the question is does it matter?

Because on all your Output you will be picking the English description. Also none of your users will be login in Language DE.

Actually in layout they simply pick   select desc from  too5u .

Ok .

But in table two entries are there like

De     uttaranchal

En     Telangana.

It is picking first one because it  is at First line.
