SAP PS/PP result analysis SKF from production output

Hi Experts,

My client is in steel industry basically does Engineering to order projects (ETO cycle).

Issue is , finance team of client want result analysis based on quantity (MT of steel), i explained them we can do it by using SKF at activity level, we will maintain planned quantity of steel for each month and will post the actual quantity manually for each month.

However they want system to pick the actual quantity (In Metric Tonn) from production every month, they dont want to put manually.

Can we do this, or is there any other solution i should go for

Hi Rajiv,

You can do it through LIS in two steps.  First from PP to LIS, next from LIS to CO/PS.  It is likely to take some development effort as well.

Thanks for your reply, it means i can put actual qty in SKF in project system automatically for each period against planned SKF for that period
