Deleting Request of loading data

Hi,

I have an Infosource with two Infopackage IP1 and IP2 (they have different selection data).

I need to load every month IP1 and IP2, but I need to delete the last request of IP2 (on ODS and Cube) before I load IP2...

How can I do this delete of requests at Infopackage level?! I have to delete them manually?

can someone help me?

Carta,

SAP Provides PSA Deletion jobs, suppose I want to delete the data from PSA which are 7days older, By PSA Deletion jobs I can achieve this.

So, before you load the data to datatarget trigger to this PSA Deletion jobs(Which bacically runs as Background Jobs), so first the event will be triggered and PSA data will be deleted then it will load you data.Now your PSA will contain fresh data.I dont remember those PSA Deletion job name, just search , you will get it.

It can be done through process chain. If you are not using process chains. Right click on Data Target> manage>Click on tech status(Stack symbol) a window pops up click and cit will give deleting options and you can choose from them.

Hi,

This can be achieved through process chains and you have process called delete from PSA. By using that process in the process chain previous request could be deleted.

I don't understand how I must use the process "delete from PSA" in my process chain!

My process chain is:

1) start

2) Deletion of Requests from PSA

3) Execute InfoPackage

4) Activate ODS Object Data

5) Further Processing

6) end

In "Deletion of Requests from PSA" what do I do?!

This process deletes also the request from ODS and Cube?!
