SWPM Copy ASE -> "The installer is started with enabled database envir...

Hi experts,

I try a system copy (DB-Copy of ASE) with SWPM on Windows.

After selecting the DB-software I get in SWPM the error:

"Assertion failed: The installer is started with enabled database environment variables, which is not supported".

Does anybody know what that means and how I can solve this?

Solution has been suggested for your specific issue.

this sounds really helpful.
I tried it, however I still get the problem.

May it be the problem, that I do the installation with <sid>adm of system?
Maybe I have to use a user, which is a kind of admin and does not have set any environment?

So that was the problem.

I have to use the "Administrator" instead of <sid>adm.

It is easy to understand, as for the sidadm the envs are set and for admin not!

I've already checked this.

But what does it mean regarding this?
Because I do a system copy from prod->qual.

And qual was working fine before...

So I doubt that the installation is corrupt..
