RFC Look up's while migrating from PI 7.11 to PO 7.4

Hello All,

We are planning to migrate from PI 7.11 to PO 7.4 Java stack. We have RFC look up tables developed and maintained in our current ABAP stack of PI 7.11. We would like to maintain the same RFC look up tables when we migrate to PO 7.4 as well.

But we are not allowed to maintain those tables in ECC. Is there any way that we could maintain these RFC look up tables when we are on Single stack with out maintaining those in ECC?

Thanks,

Srinivas

Hello Srinivas,

As Praveen suggested moving to ECC is better option.

Hello Raghu,

We can maintain the same in ECC but as per the requirement we have to maintain the same in BRM tables.

Could you please suggest, how can we maintain the same tables in BRM.

Thanks,

Srinivas

Just replied above Srinivas..

You can use BRM tables and  call via SOAP Lookup UDF

Hi Srinivas,

  • Best solution is move the tables to ECC then you can still use RFC lookup
  • You can create tables in java stack as per this blog and you need to use JDBC lookup in the mapping.

Praveen.

Hello Praveen,

Yes you are correct. But as per our requrement we need to move these entries into BRM tables.

Could you please suggest how can we maintain the same tables in BRM.

Thanks,

Hello Srinivas,

You can refer the below links

You can call the BRM using soap lookup udf
