Cannot change BEx query if there are variables (user input) in 4.2 sp02

When I try to change a BEx query (change source) I have notice this behaviour:

BEX A with input parameters <-> BEX B without input parameters ΟΚ

BEX A with input parameters <-> BEX B with input parameters FAILED

BEX A without input parameters <-> BEX B with input parameters FAILED

BEX A without input parameters <-> BEX B without input parameters OK

The change source wizard procceds until the final selection of the dimensions and measures, where a pop up rise with the bold part below

Among others the glf:

the authorizations are both enterprise and windows ad (two separate systems throughing the same error), full administrative rights

News flash.

On 4.2 SP02 (PL2) Server, with client tools 4.2 SP0 PL0, in Web Rich Client the error is gone. Please try.

Nope. No luck. It's been reported to SAP.

Can you try by Purging the data without prompt selections before changing source .
