Reservation or planned material exchange (BWART 309)

ECC 6.0   MM Question

Is it possible to somehow have a planned document to trace the requirement to move

material X                  to Material Y

Storage Location S1 to Storage Location S2

With MB1b you can do the BWART 309.

What Im looking for is how you can enter the requirement as a plan.

And refer to that "PLAN" when its done.

Reservation would work if Movement type 309 was allowed and not just 411.

Hacking  T156 to set 309 to allow reservations didnt work.

Any ideas how this can be solved?

Hi,

   Please check the help doc: Planning Stock Transfers and Transfer Postings via Reservations - Inventory Management and Physical ... which clearly explains that the reservation is not allowed for transfer postings and 309 is a transfer posting movement.

   As of my knowledge, there is no option in standard to plan 309 movement!
