ID No authorization in BP Master & employee master

Hi experts,

A user is having professional license and having full authorizations for employee master and BP master data, but he can't enter ID No. in BP master data (General Tab) and employee master data (Personal Tab).

Can you please help which authorization need to be given to the user to make these two ID No fields editable.

Hi,

When we are not sure which authorization is missing against the user, we can use ST01 to trace the missing authorization objects and add them.

1. enable the trace in ST01 for user (authorization error only)

2. reproduce the error from the affected user ID

3. switch off the trace in ST01 and analyse the trace file to find out the objects.

Alternatively, you can execute SU53 transaction after the error happened and check the missing objects but some times it won't provide most accurate objects.
