Facing error in when we call PI Webservice from Webdynpro Java

Hi All,

Hope all are doing good.

We are using PI interfaces in Webdynpro java. Till now it is working fine.

Recently we changed http to https. Now we are facing the error when we are calling the PI webservice. Herewith attached the screen shot.

Please check and let us know your suggestions.

have you checked the log files? does the web service call work when it's called via web service navigator (please refer to thread http://scn.sap.com/thread/3889801)?

When I check the Webservice logs , It says " Current principal is null". Please check the screen shot and let me know your suggestions.

Hi,

It looks like that the authentication is not set for the webservice in combination with https. check out the documentation on single service administration Configuring Individual Web Services - Administration - SAP Library and Configuration Options for Service Endpoints - Administration - SAP Library

if you configure the authentication there - the ws navigator call and also the web service via web dynpro should work then.
