Convert iReport report (Jasper JRXML) into Crystal

Hi all.

What is the easiest way to bring (some of them quite extensive) existing ireports (XRXML-extension) into Crystal Report, use and run them there in the future?

I understood that there is no tool yet.

Is it an approach to just copy the query code (make the necessary changes in CR) and try to design the report afterwards in CR?

Sorry, but I am a beginner (in jasper and not really much more in CR).

Hi Eberhard,

If you have the ability to extract SQL queries from the Jasper report, you should start by testing it in CR.

There could be multiple queries, so you'd need to see if they can be combined into a single SQL.
