Hi,
When I want to enter the data in IT 0581 (HRA), I encountered the following error.
Message No. HRPADIN01177
The taxability code is missing or is not maintained for the selected housing type in V_T7INR7.
The selected housing type should be configured to a taxability code in V_T7INR7.
Can somebody please help me in solving this issue?
Best regards,
Veera Sasidhar Jangam
Hi Veera,

Hi Jangam,
This is the issue because of you have not maintained the SAP standard HRA Tax code with HRA wage type in V_T7INT9 table.
Please assign SHRA tax code for your HRA wage type and then try to create IT581.
Hope so you can able to create a record.

Hi Sankarsan,
Thank you for trying to help. But this is already done. We have checked with the ABAPer and he informed us that it is getting redirected to the feature CMELG. We have done the necessary configuration related to this feature as well (which actually is not required), but still we are facing this issue.
Please help!
Best, Sasidhar
Can you share the IT8 and table V_T7INT9 details?
If have not maintained tax code against HRA wage type and included that wage type in allowance grouping then you will get this kind of issue.
Process step if you wane to calculate HRA exemption then you will include HRA wage type in Allowance grouping and then need to add that wage type in T7INT9 table with SHRA tax code. After that you can maintain IT581 and wage type will be come to IT8(there have standard dynamic action is there in between IT581 and IT8).
