Hi Gurus,

There was an unexpected server restart,  after the restart i am not able to see the server pids.

i can see the sqlrule.llr and sqlrule.dfa in <BI_install_folder>\SAP Business Objects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win64_x64.

it was working before restart of server.

The DSN were configured with Windows Authentication,  i changed them to DB username and Pwd.

i check the DSN's they are working fine.

i stopped SIA and restarted it still the serverpids and not coming up.

Thank you for the help !!!!!!!!

HI Lilkar ,

As you mentioned you have changed the Password for the Database try below steps and it will help you to resolve the issue.

Since you have made the changes in the ODBC it should be updated same in the SIA Properties :

  • Open CCM
  • Go To Properties of the SIA
  • Configuration Tab
  • Click on Specify and use Update datasource setting.
  • Use the same ODBC connection and authentication by giving user name and password and Cluster.
  • Once you will click on OK you should see the "Cluster Belongs to the Cluster ......."

Try to start the SIA and check CMS.exe is present in the Task Manager. If so you are good to go.

Let me know the result.

Hi lilkar,

As suggested by the You have to stop the SIA in order to enable the function.

As the Service is in running state you are unable to edit or make the changes.

Hi,

Key. Please enter the correct one. If you forgot your cluster key, you can reset it described in SAP Note 1613058.

Hi Lilkar,

So that means you have given wrong key.

Follow the same steps again but before that COPY the Encrypted Key from

•Go To Properties of the SIA >> •Configuration Tab >> Cluster key ( Copy the full encrypted key )

Then follow the steps again. Regards, Mahak
