edit translation of unit of measure

Hello together,

I have a general question about the units of measure.

For each unit of measure there is an english translation maintained. We would like to change the translation of a unit of measure. Can I simply change the translation in the productive system? Or do I have to consider something?

1. Go to Business Configuration >> Overview
2. Search for Activity "Quantities and Units of Measure"
3. Click on "Create and Maintain Trading Units"
4. Click on Translation
5. Select the Target Language
6. Find the Unit and enter/change the translation

thank you for your reply, but I know how I can change the translation of a unit of measure.

I want to know, if I may change the translation during the productive work / system?
