External for purchasing info is NOT auto popped up after selecting ctrl key PM02?

Hi PM Guru,

Normally in PM order, we enter the external service by choosing control key PM02.

From memory, there is a pop-up screen of External info that directs us to purchasing info.

But here we have to manually click the "External " button after chaning the control key to PM02.

Is there any setting required and missing here?

Pls kindly advise.

Hi Sally,

1) doesn't open the pop up, because already text is coming in the description of the operation. 

Test in an operation without text.

test in the second operation

2) Field bellow - doesn't matter for the pop up

You are right for point 1 that if I leave the operation text blank for control key PM02, the Popup is called up.

Is it the only way to make the popup available? Can it be done after the operation text is filled?

Hello,

Addition to this material profile and external profile are also important to define as default settings if not defined the pop up will come. so check all these and come up with the issue resolved or not.

Hi Sameer,

Without SPRO access, I tested that there is NO cost element, purchase info maintained here.

But what I have done as a way to supplement is to set the default value at order level, which prevents the pop-up from appearing.

Even though by leaving the description of operation blank which brings the Pop-up, the rest of the info is grey out. I have to click "external" to enter the price.

It seems for control key PM02 Ext. processing value is not maintained as Externally processed operation. Due to this no pop-up screen of External info that directs us to purchasing info.

In control key configuration, have you filled ( +) symbol for external processing. Or its better to share screenshot of your PM02 control key config as mentioned by Maria.
