Discrepancy in material transfer tracking

Former Member

Hi Experts

I am currently attempting to track material transfers from goods receiving to our main warehouse to determine the workload of my warehousing staff.

I have been using transactions MB51, LT22 & LT23 but the data i have extracted is not consistant with what is being physically recorded. Is there another transaction i should be using for this?

Failing this, is there a way i can look up daily transactions based on a users login? Please help.

I ask the operators to record the physical movements for the shift on a manual tracking sheet. I then look in LT22 for storage type 005 (general warehouse), confirmation status - only confirmed TO items, Reference storage type - Destination and then search for the date range required.

The figures i get from LT22 vary greatly from what is recorded physically.

get you more or less in LT22.

If you want compare the manual recording with LT22 then your recording should have something in common with LT22 so that you are able to analyze whats missing or whats too much.

I am getting less in LT22, for example some days ago an operator scanned away 44 individual pallets of stock but in LT22 it only showed 7. These parts had nothing in common, they were all from different suppliers and booked in on different ASN's.

Its almost like some of the transactions are not being recorded.

did you already check the LS24, LS26, LX02  for the stock situation.

I mean if there was no TO then the stock must still be in its origin bin.

If all stock is in the target bin then the selection must somehow be wrong.

I have used these and checked that stock transfers and locations are correct.

Is LT22 even the correct transaction i should be using, is there a better transaction i should use for this information?

LT21 to LT28 are all good, just depends from which angle you want to look at a TO

I purely want to see on any given day exactly what was moved from GR to w/house and by whom.

Is there a transaction i can use to view user activity by Z number/user name?
