Hello,
I try to login to S4/HANA DEMO / Evaluation appliance based on S4HANA 151 with ERPConnect (RFC with librfc32.dll), but I always get the following error:
RfcOpenEx failed(RFC_ERROR_COMMUNICATION): SAP_CMINIT3 : rc=26 > Connect to SAP gateway failed
Connect_PM GWHOST=XXX.XXX.XXX, GWSERV=sapgw00, SYSNR=00
LOCATION SAP-Gateway on host XXX.nodomain / sapgw00

RELEASE 745
COMPONENT SAP-Gateway
VERSION 2
RC 750
MODULE /bas/745_REL/src/krn/si/gw/gwr3cpic.c
LINE 1337
COUNTER 2
I also changed the Profile Param login/disable_cpic to 0, but I still cannot login.
I also tried the NW RFC Library.
The Login with SAP GUI is working.
Thanks for your help.
Best
Al
The earlier responses to this thread are incorrect. Posting this reply so others don't experience the same issue.
For resolving this issue, refer to OSS note 910918.
You need to add a line to the PRXYINFO tab as follows to allow all traffic regardless of network.
P SOURCE=* DEST=*
Value of P means "permit". This PRXYINFO tab is new following SAP Basis 7.40 release.

Hi Ali,
if the issue is not the gateway / firewall / proxy, can you check what ports your ERPConnect tool is using ?
We checked in CAL for differences wrt. the 1503 trial (where it obciously worked before for you) and the 'typical' RFC port 3200 should be open in both releases.
Coud you also check that you use the right IP to connect to the Amazon instance (external IP of the S/4HANA ABAP instance) ?
Best,
Joerg

Hi Al,
To clarify:
Are you using the S/4HANA 1511 FPS 01 trial via the SAP Cloud Appliance Library / Amazon Web Services (as mentioned on https://go.sap.com/cmp/oth/crm-s4hana/s4hana-on-premise.html) ?
Or something else ?
Best,
Joerg

Hello Ali ,
It seems as if the gateway security is rejecting your connection requests.
You can try maintaining the ACL files .
The possible solutions seems to be setting the prxyinfo gateway security correctly.
You can do this by going to SMGW-->Goto-->Expert Functions-->External security-->Maintenance of ACL files-->switch to tab prxyinfo and delete all lines . Activate and Save.
Regards,
Suneeth
