Hi,
I would like to re-order the UIBBs. I know users can personalize the UI by reordering the UIBBs but the customer would like to reorder the UIBB e.g. move up Plant-specifc UIBB,move down less used UIBB e.g. GTIN/EAN. We want to do this for all user. Is this possible to do with customizing or must i do it some other way?
Hi Luqman,
You can use customizing or use CBA or even make a deep copy of the UI and rearrange. There is lot of documentation on MDG UI. You can search and try the options.
Thanks

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. I'm fully aware of all the options and I have "RTFM" so to speak
a. Customizing didnt work as the screenshot I am showing is not part of the customizing. I can customize the UIBBs but not the OVP.
b. CBA does not make sense here because I am not trying to hide fields based on a value, just trying to rearrange the UIBBs.
c. Deep-copy is an option but a last resort one.
Thanks all for helping! I am able to get the correct screen now.
Previously after clicking New in this step:
I get a blank page instead of getting the screen that i was expecting. I must have entered something in the Config ID that must have changed the Config ID that caused the error in the first place.

Rather than do anything complicated -
Try just clicking and dragging the UIBB's from the UI config screen (as in your screenshot) to the place where you want it.
If the user has no personalisation, every user should then see it in the order you've dragged it to.

Hi Luqman,
that fact that you cannot create/edit a customizing for the OVP configuration is rather strange!
Can you please check the original language of the OVP configuration, then run Web Dynpro application CUSTOMIZE_COMPONENT with URL parameter sap-language=<original language>.
Provide the OVP configuration ID and press "New", resp. "Edit" button.
Is there any difference?
Regards,
Simon
