Payroll area not getting reflected while updating investment

Hi Experts,

While updating investment declaration for one Payroll area there is an Error pop-up.

Error Pop up shows that “record already exists for F.Y 2016-17”.

whereas when we check in edit option (In PA30) it shows that no record exists.

Check your payroll control record it must be in April 2016.

Hi Priyanka,

Are you trying to update the record for financial year 2016.

if yes ? your control record must be relase for payroll for the month of Apr.

than system automaically create infotype for 2016 FY (01.04.2016-31.03.2017).
