CO54 : Process Message failure : cat - PI_CRST

Dear Experts,

We are working on a scenario in process industry where control recipes are sent from Process Orders in ECC to 3rd Party Manufacturing system via X-steps. Control recipe monitors shows that Process Messages are executed successfully and the status in Process Order is XSpr - Control recipe created.

Now, when we receive Process Messages back to ECC, the one related to completing the control recipes (PI_CRST) fails to update the status. It shows standard error Message no. CB 010

We have a option of create Process Message manually in CO57 and execute but it will fail again as the issue seems to be related to Status.

As per our assumption, its because of Control Recipe status "XSpr" which is still in created stage. What should the Pre-requisite to execute the process message (with category PI_CRST) to complete the control recipes. Is it "XSez" - Control recipe in process ?

We are running some test scenarios and will update the thread soon. As this issue is standard one, please suggest what is missed out in the process ?

Best Regards,

Rohit

Hello,

Invalid status change for control recipe

Please check You already have successfully sent the first process message from the control recipe destination to CO54.

X steps satus

XSpr - XStep productive

XSez - Xstep executed

In Transaction BS32 please check

Transaction

XSCR Execute XStep

SysS I0651 is Set

And

XSPR Set XStep to productive

Hi! You must run a transaction CO53 for your order. There you will see your control recipe with "Created" status. You must select the control recipe and click "Send". After that, the control recipe status will change to "Send" and you will be able to send the process message for this control recipe.
