error in archiving "Action 'CREATE' on near-line connection failed (RC=4)

HI NLS experts,

are you familiar with the error? we are encoutnring it during archiving. We are implementing nls using Sybase iq.

We had recreated the iq db, but did not delete the old DAPs. But we reloaded the data to HANA db.

Now we are having error on those old DAP.

What is the usual fix to this??

Since deleting the dap, activating the dap, is not working. What can be done further?

Hope you could help us. we are using sap bw 7.4 on hana and Sybase 16 sp10

hi Joan,

Please try deleting any old DAP entries from system (table: RSDANLOBJ) . Then start fresh, create new DAP entries followed by archiving request.

Make sure to check your NLS connection details.
