Sybase Control Centre - Authenticate Agent

I have created a database using the Sybase Control Centre 3.3, my IQ server has started no problem, but when I go to authenticate the agent I get this error message. I am able to connect to it throuugh Interactive SQL and query the database as well.

However this doesn't happen on any other IQ Server that has been created and they are running fine, and the agent authenticates.

anyone else had this error message before??
