Adding KPI tile to a custom catalog

Hi,

I have configured few KPI Applications and they are working fine when I assign /UI2/SAP_KPIFRW5_TCR_S  role to the users.

But I want to give access to only specific KPI apps to a user X and not to all KPI apps, So I created a custom role which has the custom catalog and a custom group.

In the custom catalog I have added the following target mapping :

and in the group, I added the specific KPI apps from /UI2/SAP_KPIFRW5_TC_R and other transnational apps from the custom catalog . So now I have given the user access to only specified KPI app.

But since the group is customizable the user X can remove the KPI app from the group, and he cannot add it back because the tile is not present in the catalog.

So, Is there a way where I can add the KPI tile to the catalog directly.

Also, even if I don't assign user X to the evaluation in "Manage KPI Authorization" the user is able to access the KPI tile and it's evaluation.

What is the difference between giving access to evaluations and assigning the required hana roles.

HI

You can disable the personalization for group.  Uncheck the checkbox as shown in the image below.

Why are you not able to create the tiles and target mappings in the custom catalog similar to /UI2/SAP_KPIFRW5_TC_R  catalog .

I have created the target mapping in the catalog already, as displayed in the screen shot above.

But how do I add the tile? Since it is KPI tile, I do not know how to add it.

have you already found out how to add KPI tiles to catalogs/groups? I'm facing the same issue in within the launchpad designer.
