No dangerous goods master record found

Hi All,

I am working with Dangerous goods management and DG Checks. I am facing an issue while creating sales order and when i perform DG checks the system is throwing an error "No dangerous goods master record found". I will briefly explain the steps I have done on this activity.

1) Specifications of LS_UN_SUB, DG_CL_SUB and REAL_SUB are already created and material assigned to REAL_SUB which is GPP and Env Rlt.

2) Corresponding check schemas are defined for the combination of SOrg, SDocCat and sales document type

3) Routes are maintained accordingly

4) DG master data is filled in Tcode DGE5 and product is released in DGPREL and have done the settings as indicated in the below link http://scn.sap.com/thread/3464598 and  http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-50204 but the errors still shows as "No dangerous goods master record found"

Please help me out on this.

Hi C.B,

The error message displays as "No dangerous goods master record found".

1) If i check the log it is some thing to do with "INITIALIZATION MODULE FOR HEADER CHECK METHODS". I configured the check schema such that i included only General checks, MOT checks and MLC checks but system is skipping MLC checks and displaying "DG checks are completed, there are no log entries".

2) Now, i defined "INITIALIZATION MODULE FOR HEADER CHECK METHODS" in check schema system throws an error "No dangerous goods master record found".

not easy to help you without knowledge of your customizing set up etc.

The log information is not "helpful" here

May be check document:

You will find "links" to other threads discussion this kind of set up. I have not seen many DG related quesitons here in the last years.

Dear Darshan,

1.kindly check if you have a DG Master record for the respective Regulation and Mode of Transport Also take the Validity Area of the DG master record into consideration based on your Route Information.

2.Regarding MLC check getting ignored .check the IMG activity Specify Usage Profiles for Dangerous Goods check Methods.

Here you can restrict a particular Check method for one Mode of Transport and validity Area and Role combination .In that way it wont be applicable for other MOT's and validity areas.
