issues while Sending spool request as attachment via mail.

Hi all,

     i have scheduled MB52 in background using  a variant and trying  to send spool request to user  which is created in SBWP.

I got the  attachment too in .HTM   format in my mail inbox,  which is  corrupted and can not be open. and also its decreasing size to 1 KB always.

While checking in SOST no issues found with files.  if i am trying to send .TXT or .XLS file its working very fine.

if anyone have any idea plz suggest.

what does it exactly mean that the HTML file is corrupt?

The browser will display a wrong formatting? Or the browser can not open the HTML file at all?

If you can read HTML code, do you see any irregularity in the file? (For example: some code will appear at the beginning / end of the HTML file which has nothing to do with the HTML syntax?)

Yes Exactly.. i am able to open the file through browser  and as u said, some code are appearing  at the beginning.

Hello Debesh,

in such cases the usual problem is that the original data itself (the MB52 output) contains some extra data which could not be interpreted by the HTML converter of R/3.

Look around for Notes / KBAs / other documents from component BC-CI-WEBR, as the HTML converting functionality belongs to them. They should contain some information about HTML converting details.
