Unable to view the schedule instances if user id is deleted

After scheduling the Crystal reports, if the particular id is deleted due to some circumstances like the person leaves company then the report schedule instance is deleted automatically.

Is there any way that the scheduled instance persists even though the user is deleted.

You need to create a user alias to Enterprise authentication, if your users are created using like AD or LDAP. Even the account was deleted from the system, it will be in enterprise , so schedules will not loose.

    Hi Kumar,

It is by design that the scheduled (recurring) instance is deleted or pause by BO if and when the User (account) is deleted from AD or LDAP, one reason (may be), to avoid confidentiality of data in case of that report being scheduled to send email (in xls or pdf format) to external email ids.

One way (apart from what Jawahar said), is to schedule the report(s) by logging in as Administrator user, as that user is never deleted.

The quick fix is login as BO Administrator and re-schedule those reports (which have stopped scheduling), you can easily get the parameters selected (which scheduling) from one of the previous instances from the History screen.

Let us know if that makes sense.
