Deployment HANA Driver in PI 7.31

Dear All,

Regarding the steps I followed HANA JDBC Driver deployment in PI 7.31 sp16(dualstack).

1) Download the "com.sap.ndb.studio.jdbc_2.1.16.jar" file from HANA studio

2) change .jar file to "com.sap.db.jdbc.Driver.jar"

3) Add the modified driver files to the lib directory of the archive com.sap.aii.adapter.lib.sda with the help of a zip program.

Then to modify the provider.xml file in the server directory of the archive com.sap.aii.adapter.lib.sda

4) Deployed into PI successfully.

I see the driver in this path   "usr/sap/SID/DVEBMGS40/j2ee/cluster/bin/ext/com.sap.aii.adapter.lib/lib"

And my configuration in JDBC communicational defined:

Error when trying to connect HANA Database 'SAPClassNotFoundException":

using the JDBC driver 'com.sap.db.jdbc.Driver': 'com.sap.aii.adapter.jdbc.sql.DriverManagerException: Cannot establish connection with the registered driver. com.sap.db.jdbc.Driver returns: com.sap.db.jdbc.Driver.

: SAPClassNotFoundException: com.sap.db.jdbc.Driver'

Can you please suggest me about this error that where could be the wrong.

Drivers seems to be fine.

Try re-deploying or restart the server once after deployment and check.

Hi Sateesh,

Extract the jar file com.sap.ndb.studio.jdbc_<version>.jar you will find ngdbc.jar under lib directory.

You need to deploy this jar file into PI server because this one got the Driver Class.

You are correct.I already did the same.

I found ngdbc.jar file inside " com.sap.ndb.studio.jdbc_<version>.jar"
