WDA Make Container Read only

Dear Friends,

Is it possible to make the container in Webdynpro ABAP as read only?.

Actually i am trying to make the Select options as read only using method  "upd_selection_field" but it not working in dynamic change of read only and edit mode.

Why would you have the Select Options as read-only?

It's not possible to make readonly for ViewContainerUiElement, Instead of this make as a Disable  mode
