Dear Expert, We are facing one printing issue. Our HP Payslip is with Adobe technology. So while during printing spool request generating ' via a background job. So our problem is when we are printing directly it is coming differently during print. But when we see the adobe form print preview from spool and click on print then it is coming different layout( little bit down). We tried different way but could not found any solution, can anybody help us regarding this ? Regards, Asaduzzaman

    Hello,Asaduzzaman,

    if I understand correctly:

    • when you print from the Adobe Reader, then the layout is shifted downwards
    • but when the PDF spool will be printed from SP01 without Adobe Reader, then the output is "normal".

    Is this so?

The reason I am asking this is that in the first case the Adobe Reader creates (with the Windows printer driver) the print data, while in the second case the printer natively interprets the PDF data.

This means that two different printing technologies are used. This means that the result will never be the same.

Please see my KBA #1849996 - "Identical output of ADS requests (SAPPDFPrint)" which covers this topic.

    Best regards,

    Laszlo
