Hi experts.
We are in a project to upgrade our PI from 7.02 SP16 to 7.5 SP02, Oracle 12, Linux RedHat 6.3, and in the execution step show us this error:
Last error code set: RFC error system SID nr 11 function 'SUBST_HANDLE_UVERS' failed with code 3 key
DBSQL_NO_MORE_CONNECTION: No resources available for further secondary database connections.
Have you ever seen this error before?
We didn't find SAP Notes to help us.
If experts could help with this trouble,
Thanks
Marcos
Netweaver 7.50 needs Oracle v12 and we upgraded a few weeks ago.
Eventually, the issue was due to Oracle client.
We had both Oracle v11 and Oracle v12 clients installed on the application server and the Linux system environment variables were pointing on the v11 version.
==> check/update your Oracle Client version (see note 819829 Oracle Instant Client Installation and Configuration on Unix)

Hi Marcos,
If the instance 11 was up and running, but this issue happened, you may check whether any error was reported in SM21 and ST22.
You may also check DB logs, DBSQL_NO_MORE_CONNECTION looks like a DB resource issue.
If no clue is found in SAP system, you may try to update SAP Kernel to the latest patch, and ensure the latest SUM packages is used.
Best regards,
Charles

Hi Charles, thanks for your reply.
So, during SUM phase kernel were update to latest version available from SMP, according file we downloaded from MOPS during stack.xml configuration.
According SAP suggestion, we have updated last R3trans version from SMP, but the problem persist.
About DBSQL_NO_MORE_CONNECTION, have you any suggestion to us?
Thanks
Marcos
