Hi,
I have few questions on Disaggregation being done on Hierarchy:
I have a simple input ready query with Customer hierarchy being drilled down and Input Ready Key Figures with setting "Disaggregate Value Entered" and using Self Reference.
Case 1: When i enter any values at Level 3 as 300 (shown below), it is disaggregated between Level 4 as 200 & Level 5 as 100.
Not sure how it is deriving the ratios when i have marked it as Self Reference for the first time there are no values at all.
Shouldn't this Level 4 be 300 and Level 5 as 300. ??
Because, when Level 4 is collapsed and its showing 200 it gives wrong impression to the user. Can you please help me with solution to fix this.
For eg:
Hier Level 1- 300
-Level 2 -- 300
- Level 3
- Level 3 -- 300
- Level 4 -- 200
- Level 5 - 100
Case 2: Now when i change some values at Level 5 as 100, it is getting updated even to Level 4 as 200 (+100) and thus Level 3 is showing wrong aggregation values.
Hier Level 1-
-Level 2
- Level 3
- Level 3 -- 400
- Level 4 -- 300
- Level 5 - 200
Hi Divya,
please give the real example, what hierarchy are you talking of, what are the exact nodes - and how many - on each level.
Are the levels bookable nodes itself or are they just text nodes?
regards
Cornelia

Hi Divya,
You need to understand how disaggregation works in Input Query. There are various combinations which exist based on your aggregation level and each characteristic in it is important for diaggregation. Also reference data plays a key role in distribution,so check what reference data you have in cube for characteristics in aggregation level. I guess your case looks like to be an example 8 in below link. Please refer the below link for more details.
Thanks.
