Selection List for Lookup RFC Adapters is empty

Hi everybody,

I have very strange situation.

I'm creating e message mapping that use a RFC Lookup and the list, where I must specify the channel for the lookup during a local test is empty. (see the attached jpg)

At the same time in already existing mapping this list shows all the existing channels.

I thought that maybe I must first create a Configuration Scenario - no. I see there no values too.

I'm I wrong, or the System? What should I do to fill the list with channels?

Thank you in advance for you answers.

Regards,

Ianko

Hi Lanko,

Make sure you selected the right version of the adapter when you select the type parameter in the signature tab. for example in the integration directory you created the channel using version 7.31 and if you select adapter version 7.10 in signature tab then you don't see it in the list.

Thank you Praveen,

It was the right thing.

In the list of the existing RFC adapter versions I have selected this with the highest number assuming that during the migration all channels are migrated there. Selecting the one with the old version number I see all channels. Why do we have this situation? Hopefully our SAP Basis knows the answer to that.

Ianko

Hello Lanko,

Its because you have upgraded from older version to new one.

Now in the new version if you configure with right RFC channel you can get it in the list.

Hi Lanko,

If you upgrade the system the channels version wont be updated automatically in the communication channels, you need to manually change the channel version in the channels, if you have migration tool then using channel migration option you can change the channel version in all the channels at a time.

Regards,

Praveen.
