PI7.4 Adapter module configuration mandatory element problem.

Hello Experts,

I am trying to create PI 7.4 adapter module by using the article below.

PI 7.4 - Adapter Module Creation using EJB 3.0

I set the ASMA to filename in the file sender CC, and the filename and directory for the receiver CC.

But still i get the error as below.

Transmitting the message to endpoint <local>
using connection File_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to:
com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException:
com.sap.aii.adapter.file.configuration.DynamicConfigurationException: The
Adapter Message Property Directory was configured as mandatory element, but was
not supplied in the XI Message header

Can someone help me to solve this.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Antony.

    Hi Antony,

Can you explain your requirement? Did you deploy the adapter module successfully in PI server?? Can you show us the code you have written in the adapter module and what is the file name you are getting from sender, because if you just copy and paste the code from the blog then it wont work because in the module the directory is only set if the file name contains Source1 or Source2 etc.

    Regards,

    Praveen.
