Creating an OData-Service in Eclipse - possible?

Hi experts,

I'm about to create my first OData-service and want to make sure I use the right tool:

In GW100 I learnd that it's done with SEGW in BusinessClient , but I'm wondering if maybe it can (should?) be done in a more "modern" way in Eclipse as well?

    Hi Joachim,

unfortunately there is no modern way to create oData Services via Eclipse. You still have to use the SEGW. So simple read usecases you can use the way to expose CDS views as oData Services.

In that case you are working basically in the eclipse CDS editor and just put another annotation in your source to expose the services.
