HANA on enterprise edition

Hi,

In my landscape our development server is on hana db 1.0 SP09 enterprise edition.

know we want to install BW 7.5 on hana db, but to install BW7.5 we need minimum stack SP10 (rev 102) and above.

when i go to market place try to download SP stack, i cant see hana enterprise edition.

yes i can see platform edition.

my question is can i apply support pack stack of hana platform edition in hana enterprise edition.

is there any impact ?

Hello Sachin,

We download and use Platform Edition versions on our HANA installations.

You can go ahead with Platform edition, too.

You can find related info in note 2000003 - FAQ: SAP HANA also.

38. What is the difference between the SAP HANA enterprise edition and the SAP HANA platform edition?

The software for both editions is identical, only the underlying contracts are different. See SAP Note 1817105 for more information.

SAP HANA Enterprise edition and platform editions are similar so we can apply support pack of HANA platform edition i hana enterprise edition
