MDG-M - Modifying Available Values in Mass change/Multiple Processing

Hi,

We are going to implement and provide the Mass Change/Multiple processing functionality to certain users.

However, there are certain sensitive fields that we do not want to ever be included in a Mass change CR, so my question is:

How can I restrict the available values in Mass change and File Upload process?

I'll use the field 'Brand' as an example in the below screenshots. If Brand was a sensitive field how can I stop it showing up in the below lists?

File Upload

Mass Change

Hi Benjamin,

Try this.

MDGIMG->UI Modeling->Define Field Properties for UI

Thanks

Hi Goutham,

This has worked for the Mass Change option, thank you.

But the fields still exist on the screen for File Upload. I noticed that you can hide from the upload/download screen but only at Entity level.

How can I hide fields from upload/download file at field level?

Thanks,

Ben

I don't think you can hide at field level for file upload/download with the standard UI. But you can create a variant for both File upload/download on the UI and give that link in NWBC/Portal.

Also for file upload you can implement some validations in the BADI based on the change request type to avoid changes on those fields.

Thanks

Thanks Goutham,

I feared as much. I will implement some rules in the check entity.

Thank you for your help!

Hi

I am facing similar issue, tried unchecking Mass Change option for few fields of CLASSASSIGN entity but attributes are not displaying. Can you help on how you resolved this.

Thanks in Advance!
