Arrear Wage Types in CWTR report.

Dear Experts,

As per the issue, salary data was changed for the employees in October,2015 effective from 01.04.2015 so arrears payment was done in October,2015.

There are different different cases for employees:

i) For few employees,i executed wage type reporter for month Oct,2015, arrear WT amount is Rs.57000 and for Jan,2016,arrear WT amount is Rs. -57,000.When i execute wage type reporter for complete financial year for this employee, no output in the report.

I am not able to find out arrear wage type entries in RT in payroll cluster tables also.

ii)For few employee, i executed wage type reporter for month Oct,2015 and arrear wage type amount is available and same is available in RT in payroll clusters.

I am not able to understand, whether first scenario is right way of depicting arrears or second way. Kindly assist as it is client's as well as audit query in payroll.

Best Regards,

Tania's reply what she said in your previous thread is the logical way of finding arrear payments/deductions. But it is very difficult if there are many employees having this arrear. Probably you may have to use some VLOOKUP function of excel to do this R&D (by downloading the WT reporter into excel files).

Whatever method you use, if it is matching with your S89 table's additional gross salary /616, then it is correct, else you may have to go on searching.

My suggestion is to involve the payroll admin staff in this, since he knows what data changes made in SAP (as a consultant, can only show the way to trace it).

Karthik's approach is to check in the payroll log and drill down IN42, IN43 and DT tables.(His wiki blog is nice).

Another approach is to ask your ABAPER to write a program to read the RETRO payroll results (wage types) using in-period & for-period combination and bring it as a report, but this requires ABAP resource. I hope it is possible to read retro results in clusters using ABAP code.

      Dear Bala,

I compared but i am not able to find out any changes which are triggering negative amount of Rs -57000 in wage type reporter when it is executed with period 01.01.2016 to 31.01.2016 with WT 6000 😔 😔 and there is no entry of Rs. -57000 in RT table for the employee.

      Best Regards,
