Hi Team ,
Environment : BI 4.1 SP6
Lumira on BIP :1.29.3
Can Lumira connects to Sharepoint as a datasource ?
Our requirement is to create .lums on Excel files stored in Sharepoint .We've gone through thread
It says we can connect to Lists with Generic ODATA 2.0 driver ,which is out of box connectivity . I think Excel files also stores under Lists .
Did anybody worked on this ? How do we do this ?
all the features includes schedule and refresh works when published to BIP ?
Do we need any third party drivers to refresh them in BIP?
Thank you.
Hello Sateesh,
For those excel files stored in Sharepoint, do they have UNC path pointing to them? If yes, you can acquire these excel files directly in Lumira Desktop and create your visualizations and story.
Once published to BI Platform, as long as the BIP server has access to the same UNC path, you'd also be able to refresh the document in BI Launchpad/CMC. No extra drivers are needed. Scheduling also works.
Regards,
Alan

Hi Team ,
Did anybody worked on accessing Share point LISTS using Generic ODATA 2.0- 0DATA connector driver in Lumira ?
How do we connect ? What are the permissions to be granted at Sharepoint side?
Thank you

Hi Sateesh,
I have tried a while back based on the links that Rahul has mentioned. Apart from that you can also refer to SAP HANA Academy - Lumira: Using ODATA as a Data Source - YouTube
In the address bar of the browser window, type the following URL: http:ll<servername>/_vti_bin/ListData.svc
Replace <servername> is the name of your SharePoint server. The SharePoint server returns a list of data feeds that you can access.
Since the Permission levels and permissions - SharePoint are controlled at the source level, you can refer to,
Thank you,
