port: 'undefined' error during create secure store phase

Dear all,

During sapinst create secure store phase  I got the below message

Database Instance( Last error reported by the step: Host: 'xxxoradb01' or port: 'undefined' or dbSid: 'PPD' is in an inconsistent state or undefined.).

I have gone through 562403 - FAQ: Oracle Net and checked the tnsnames.ora file and it looks fine. This is a distributed environment where I am currently in DB instance /NW740SR2/ORA/INSTALL/DISTRIBUTED/JAVA/, This is netweaver JAVA 740SR2.

Any hint.

Dear All,

I have found in the log

TRACE      2016-04-06 11:03:49.955 (root/sapinst)

TnsnamesOra.getListenerPort: Could not find alias SID.domain. I will return undefined.

In that scenario I just edit the tnsnames.ora with the same domain name. And it working.

Hi Jituda,

Open the configtool and goto the secure storage.

Goto the connection pool and maintain the port for the database system.

This will resolve the issue.

Till now the configtool is not configured. Any other way to resolve this in this phase.
