Making a work center unavailable for a specific date range

Hi

I have an annual shut down planned on a major work center and I need SAP to not schedule production during that period. how can this be done?

Also, I want to mark if any work center is not available on a particular date, how can we do it?

Hello

You can maintain Interval of available capacity to do this.Maintaining workays as '0' in Interval of available capacity will be consider as 'Non working day' (over ride factory calendar setting).
