Hey,
currently I´m getting a "Server Error" in Lumira 1.30 when I try to download a BW Query into Lumira. There is no other text within the message.
Any ideas?
Kind regards
Andre
Hi,
I have created a trace-log file with the following error:

There are two 2 different ways of connecting to an SAP BW System.
To connect to SAP BW locally, SAP Logon must be installed, and SAP BW System must be defined in the SAP Logon.
To connect to SAP BW Connection on an SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform, an OLAP Connection to SAP BW must be defined on the SAP BI Platform server."

There is a number of KBAs relating to connections from Lumira to BW. None of them have precisely the same error you mention, but they still may be worth consulting. The first thing I would do though is uninstall Lumire 1.3. If you have had any previous versions of Lumira installed go to Add | Remove and remove those, then reinstall Lumira 1.3. If that does not help, see the following KBAs:
2109326 - In SAP Lumira Desktop, the dropdown box for selecting a server is empty, although there are entries available the saplogon.ini file
2185347 - Lumira Error: Could not load the details for the SAP Business Warehouse connections
2202292 - Error: Connect to message server host failed, when attempting to connect to SAP BW from Lumira
2129519 - Unknown error when attempting to connect to SAP BW from Lumira
2041075 - Lumira Desktop gives Unknown Error when connecting to BW
